About Us: Your Trusted Indepedent Wealth Management Advisors

Meet the people who are dedicated to your success.

I’m Zachary Thomas, CFP®, Owner of Growth Horizons Wealth Management. My journey into wealth management began with a deeply personal experience—witnessing my grandfather’s financial struggles after he exited his business. His challenges ignited in me a passion to ensure that others don’t face the same hardships. I’ve combined the business acumen I inherited from him with the unwavering work ethic my parents instilled in me—both of whom dedicated their careers to serving the community. These values are the bedrock of my commitment to guiding others toward financial security and success.

After beginning my career at Wells Fargo, where I gained a deep understanding of wealth management, I spearheaded the creation of a successful wealth management department at Cadence Bank, delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. My tenure at Heritage Family Offices further refined my ability to provide comprehensive financial services, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Today, as an independent advisor, I blend cutting-edge technology with a personalized approach, operating as a fiduciary 100% of the time. My commitment is unwavering—providing unbiased, commission-free advice that centers solely on your financial goals.

Beyond finance, I’m a devoted husband to Krista, loving father to Roman, Crossfit enthusiast and devout Christian, with a deep passion for planning and action. I believe that success is built on strong relationships, integrity, and a commitment to doing what’s right—values that I bring to every client relationship.

Scott Goeke is an Associate Advisor at Growth Horizons Wealth Management. He joined the firm after a successful career in senior corporate and field leadership roles with companies including Samsung, Amazon, Microsoft, and Best Buy, where he led large teams and managed significant operational and financial responsibilities. Through this experience, Scott developed a strong appreciation for systems, execution, and delivering a high-quality client experience.

Scott made a purposeful transition into financial planning, driven by a long-standing interest in personal finance and a desire to work more directly with individuals and families. He is currently pursuing his CFP® designation and supports the firm’s planning and client service efforts.

He is based in Long Beach, New York, where he lives with his wife, Liz, and their dog, Trevor. Scott grew up on a farm in a small town in Wisconsin, which helped shape his values around hard work, family, and responsibility. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, live music, and traveling, and values time spent with his extended family.
